The last weekend of September and beautiful warm days...the city is jam packed with people and our little family has been taking it all in! This is probably my favorite time of year in SF--it almost feels like a season...
Friday night we went to Gruenwald Press to see the art opening of good friend Everett Snowden who produced an amazing body of work in a frenzied , short period of time. While we wanted to buy a painting, the show was a sell out. Beautiful work. Theo spent time hanging with Miss Melinda and JR as well as John & Catherine. On our way home, we encountered Critical Mass and Theo got to see throngs of bicyclists fill the streets.
Saturday night we entertained Terry's old Texas friends the Martins and their business partners, Phil and Toni with dinner at the Presidio Social Club. Theo was pretty good for most of the meal, but his desire to crawl around our legs overrode his desire to sit and EAT!! Yeah, our baby/restaurant days are just about over...It was a great meal with good, understanding friends and many invites to come wild boar hunting in Texas come spring-hmmmmm...
Sunday was just a kick back day at the beach--Theo let loose and got covered in wet, muddy sand, watched the kites bob in the sky and big boats chug by. It was the perfect close to the weekend.
