With summer coming to a close, Sonoma beckoned with its still warm days and pastural beauty--Our favorite home away from home--always in the good company of friends like the Cavaz family, who have made Sonoma their home for many years now. Frank & Julie along with their sons, Dylan and Dante always open their doors to us when we drive up. It was suggested we come up for one last night of backyard camping with Frank and the boys before the nights got too cold. While a good idea in theory, Theo & Mama prefer the beauty of the outdoors as viewed from a speeding car perhaps or from a lovely balcony maybe..with binoculars and a good blanket. So it was Papa T who braved the chill and clear skies and stayed up well into the morning with Mr. Cavaz drinking many adult beverages. So while we did not in fact camp altogether, we learned alot about Theo's likes and dislikes in the process...maybe next summer.
