Just throwing some new pics of Theo Michael up for the Grandparents and Aunties!! Getting any pictures of him these days is difficult as he is constantly moving or looking down! But a few successes for your viewing pleasure....
This was a very good Christmas for Young Theo. He got everything a two year old could hope for: A new farm, a babydoll ( when asked what the dolls name is, Theo replies "Baby Jesus", a Sit n' Spin (see the reaction for THAT!!) and all sorts of other wonderful things. Thanks to the many Santas that made it happen!!
Theo has carried on the traditionn of playing with the nativity scene as I once did at Deedee's house. Already Joseph has lost a head and the baby Jesus is missing a forearm but we can glue them back! We also pulled out the story-telling teddy bear that Theo got from his Grandma Lorraine. It usually keeps him occupied for about 3 minutes!
Theo had a great tome decorating the Christmas tree with good friends, Bethany & Joe. Joe is always up for any hijinks and he and Theo played "spaceman" among other silly games.
Theo, Caskey, Mama & Riley & Sara met Jessica at the Waldorf School's annual Winter Fair. The boys went to a puppet show, saw a fairy in the "fairy room" picked cookies from the cookie house and generally had a good time. Theo was a bit hesitant about all the themed rooms at first but he soon warmed up to the idea. Though later that night he lay in bed saying, "Me not want to see puppet show, me want to go home"!! ahhh well...a liitle too late kiddo.
Theo & I broke out the fingerpaints one rainy afternoon-but he has very little interest in painting on paper and prefers to coat himself in a thin shellac of green...like, The Incredible Hulk Boy...
Theo & Mama went to the brand new Academy of Science in GG Park-Auntuie Jen gave us a membership and now we have a perfect rainy day spot to go exploring-see the fish, turtles, penguins and walk through the simulated rain forest! Theo really liked that, seeing all the different creepy crawlies and butterflies. Fun day.
Lat week we went to visit Jen & Elliot at their new place. It was cozy and Jen made a good dinner for all. Theo enjoyed chasing Jack, Molly and Daisy around and hanging out with Cousin Madison.
Theo received a great hand-me-down couch from his big cousin Madison that he LOVES! He can drag it from one end of the house to the other. Fully recline on it and watch Sesame Street on it-all the while knowing it was from his fave cousin.
We had a fun potluck dinner at the Hall home on Sunday. Sebastien truly has become Theo's favorite person. On the car ride over he said "Mama, I'm happy" because he knew where we were heading. Once there the kids all played, ate pasta at the little table and Sebby even let Theo wear his Spiderman costume! Whoa! Now that's a friend!
Jess hosted a little get-together to celebrate Halloween and my birthday. We had yummy food and some took the dressing up a bit more seriously than others. Theo wasn't that into being Super Theo for the occasion-so, no cape...
